Safety is our priority at Steamboat Zipline Adventures and the safety of our participants will be highly dependent on following the guides instructions during the tour. Ziplining is a fun, thrilling adventure although like the majority of outdoor activities it does come with inherit risks including traveling as high speeds, standing on elevated platforms, wind gusts, and minor jolts from the breaking systems. We cannot emphasize the importance of listening and following directions enforced by your guides to help mitigate the risk of injury.
The construction of Steamboat Zipline Adventures has been reviewed and accredited by Team Synergo. Synergo was first established in 1994 and is an accredited Professional Vendor Member (PVM) of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). Synergo is qualified to conduct structural inspections for all types of Courses including but not limited to: High Course Elements, Low Course Elements, Zip Line Tours, Climbing Towers, Aerial Adventure Parks, and Climbing Walls. Synergos work is periodically reviewed to assess compliance with construction standards set forth by ACCT. Steamboat Zipline Adventures is inspected annually by a qualified professional and following the inspection there is a comprehensive written report issued.
The course is thoroughly inspected with a routine check at the beginning of the day with additional inspections made throughout the day if necessary due to weather conditions. All of the equipment; trolleys, harnesses, carabineers and helmets are inspected prior to the first tour of the day. The usage of the equipment is monitored following ACCT standards.
